A common issue reported when exporting reports is that the browser may be redirected to the Jaspersoft login screen. This typically occurs when something interrupts the session or authentication between the application and Jaspersoft. Common reasons include:
We’ve identified that clients using LastPass and the Google Docs Offline extension in Google Chrome may experience this issue more frequently. As a troubleshooting step, we recommend opening the browser in Incognito mode, which disables most extensions and starts a clean session. If the report exports successfully in this mode, it likely indicates that one of the extensions is causing a conflict. In those cases, we recommend reviewing your browser extensions and removing or disabling any that are not in use to help prevent similar issues.
Additionally, keep in mind that this behavior may also occur if the report is left idle for an extended period, causing the session to time out and require reauthentication. In such cases, simply re-running the report may resolve the issue without further troubleshooting.
